STAINED GLASS CLASSES
Our Stained Glass Program consists of Beginning, Intermediate, and Intermediate/Advanced classes. Classes for each skill level are 3 hours long, held on the same day, at the same time for the appropriate number of weeks.
Zingz! staff will work with Students providing education and guidance as Students develop skills completing the projects. Our program is designed for the student who wants to learn the art and provides the initial supplies to set up their own home studio.

Part 1 - Basic Stained Glass - $30 per Week for 6 Weeks*
Patterns, Equipment and Cutting Glass
Lead Project
Foil Project
Learn the basics for beginning stained glass projects and get a start on supplies to set up your home studio. Learn about glass, patterns, cutting, grinding, and soldering. Students will be introduced to both the leaded and foil method of construction. Students will make a leaded project and a foiled project during class. Glass**, materials, and supplies are provided. Each student will receive full size supply products (Value $140).
*Hand Tools & Workboard are NOT included and must be purchased from Zingz!
** Glass Pack provided for Foiled Project. Glass Allowance (up to $20) for Leaded Project.
Part 2 - Intermediate Stained Glass - $15 per Week for 6 Weeks
Leaded Bevel Project
Mirror Project
Continue to develop your skills. Design, pattern drafting, and finishing techniques are topics covered in this course. Students will design, draft their pattern, and construct a leaded bevel project during class. Students will also make a mirror project with an attached overlay (all projects subject to instructor approval).
Part 3 - Intermediate/Advanced Stained Glass - $15 per Week for 5 Weeks
Leaded Panel Project
An advanced class will be available for those students wishing to progress to more complicated projects. We will be working on a leaded panel with 40 - 60 pieces. Students will have the option to design their own project (subject to instructor approval).
